Learn to Win

The Learn to Win project is Funded by Microsoft and part of the Microsoft Britain Works initiative. The project offers free IT training to anyone who lives in Torfaen. The project is designed to give people the opportunity to gain the skills and support they need to change their lives themselves, helping enable communities get back into work.

The training includes courses like:

  • Microsoft Windows
  • Microsoft Word, Powerpoint, Excel, Access (Introduction, Intermediate and Advanced levels)
  • E-mail and Using the Internet
  • Introduction to Movie Maker and Photo Story

 

Courses are 2 to 3 hours long and fit in with school hours during the day but are also available during the evening.
