Employment Outcome

Over the last 4 months, our employability programme has reached our 40% target for getting people back into work. This has been achieved by improving the employability standards of our training placements so that our participants have the appropriate skills, abilities and confidence to apply for suitable employment.

In order to continue the momentum in meeting our long term targets we need a sustained period of economic growth so that new jobs can be created. By improving their skills and confidence, we provide our participants with the opportunity to gain employment locally and in the surrounding area.

Within the first quarter, The Garnsychan Partnership has helped to reduce unemployment figures by providing placement opportunities. Out of 80 placementees, 33 (41.25) are now in full or part time employment.
