The Garnsychan Partnerships main training objectives are to build the foundations of employability through key learning’s on the basis of best practice whilst addressing the skills gaps and shortages in priority sectors.

Our employability programme is based on a ‘value chain’ approach in which each member of staff brings core competencies, expertise and specialised skills to support each placements personal development plan.

The main outcome for this model is to create pathways from skills training to better access to jobs by working with our key stakeholders to enhance employment opportunities. Our model aims to create synergies by working with key stakeholders to produce greater effects and integrate employability objectives. This improves the levels of literacy and numeracy, bridging the gap for essential employment skills and creates an effective and efficient learning provision.

Within our 1st quarter our employability programme has reached our 40% target for getting people back into work. This has been achieved by improving the employability standard of our training placements and volunteers so that they have the appropriate skills, abilities and confidence to apply for suitable employment..
