Environmental Management Policy

The Garnsychan Partnership recognises the importance of promoting, protecting and enhancing the environment as an essential prerequisite, together with social and economic measures, of engaging in and promoting the principles of sustainability in all of its activities.

The Garnsychan Partnership ensures that all activities carried out by the organisation comply with all relevant environmental legislation.

Our aims are to:

  • Effectively manage, monitor, improve and communicate our environmental performance.
  • Take all reasonable steps to reduce our Carbon Footprint.
  • To increase, conserve or promote awareness of: bio-diversity, natural resources and sustainable development, the ethos of reduce , reuse and recycle, the aesthetic qualities of the environment, both natural and built
  • Reduce the amount of energy consumed during office hours by efficiently using equipment and operating our ‘switch off when not in use’ policy
  • Set realistic and measurable objectives and targets to effect continual improvement to the environmental performance.

The Garnsychan Partnership will regularly review this policy and ensure that corrective and preventative actions are taken in order to ensure continual improvement.
